Chessable Masters
Chess is an international game of strategy and intrigue and the artwork needed to have the same mystical feeling. There is nothing quite as soothing to the eye as a chess board - It's one of the most simple yet most elegant of designs.- Daniel Sulzberg aka Danvillage
I wanted to create a 3D perspective that showcased how a chess masters’ brains is more intelligent at problem solving than the average player. I was also highly influenced by the surreal chess scene in Alice in Wonderland and how chess is played across all international borders.
Daniel Sulzberg aka Danvillage
“COMIC BOOKS, NINTENDO GAMES, AND SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS...
As a child of the 80's, this was my life!
Now, as a Santa Barbara based illustrator not much has changed. Comic books became a writing gig on the Superman themed t.v. show "Smallville"; Nintendo games turned into a concept art job for Pandemic Studios; and Saturday morning cartoons have turned into a Creative Director job at Red Bull.”

Aimchess Rapid
As a child, I found $300 on the road while walking with my family. We weren’t a rich family, so I gave the money to our parents who were then able to buy a new refrigerator. My father was really happy and invited me to play chess with him on the balcony. Since then, I associate chess with that pleasant moment in life. This moment became a symbol of joy, inspiring the depiction of diamonds beneath the cup. The big brain is a reference to how I felt about myself after beating an on-flight chess computer on the hardest difficulty.- Anton Gudim

Julius Baer Generation Cup
I chose to keep the design for the trophy rather simple, adding splashes of detail and ornamentation to spruce it up where necessary.- Joash Britto
My art is a skill I’ve spent years sharpening, and I wanted this trophy to be a totem of skilful grandeur and fantasy – much like the masterful ‘wizards’ participating in this prestigious tournament.

Chess Champs
Chess Champs is the official trophy partner of the Champions Chess Tour, founded by chess superstar Magnus Carlsen.
Immortal, the company behind Chess Champs, a Copenhagen based venture studio, specializes in creating the future generation of entertainment platforms and fan communities – built on the principles of Web3.
A Chess Champs trophy is a digital collectible. For each of the events of the Champions Chess Tour, there are three trophies: one for the winner of the tournament, one for the partner of the tournament, and one for the fans to purchase on auction.
The fan edition of a trophy will be put on auction on OpenSea during the tournament in question. The auction will be a rolling auction. This means that there will be a pre-set deadline for bidding but each new bid made in the last 10 minutes of the auction will extend the deadline with 10 minutes.
First of all, you need to create a crypto wallet (e.g. MetaMask). This is where your digital assets will be stored once you’ve purchased them. When you’ve done so, you need to create a new user. Simply follow the instructions in the app to register. Next, you need to acquire some ETH which is the currency that fuels transactions made on OpenSea. You can acquire your ETH from a digital currency exchange like Coinbase.
Now, you’re ready to bid.
